On my old gear, I saw just seven teeth that were stripped. I'd think in my case, the gear could be rotated 90 degrees and you could get a total of 4 lives out of one nylon gear. You'd be better off with the brass gear, however.

The part numbers for the headlight motors have changed several times. The newest part number for the passenger side motor is 19207406. The driver's side has a different number.
