  • Changing my T-stat today!! Questions please.

Where exactly is it, and is this something I can do in my apartment parking lot? I did my PCV valve with no problem, but I can't spill a ton of coolant in my complex. THANKS!

Go to Install Universityfor instructions. Click on Install Documents. Scroll down the page and find 160 thermo replacement. The instrustions and pictures are for a LS1, but the V6 is all but identical.

If I'm not mistaken the V6 is quite a bit different than the LS1 on not only location, but also replacement of the thermostat. Go to this boards tech section nd there should be an install guide by Cardinal for this...It was perfect, and I changed mine the first time in under 5 minutes start to finish.
