Hey guys,
I have a 96 camaro. Recently the fuel pump would not come on. After checking relays/fuses I figured it was the fuel pump and took the pump out through an access door. What I found was that the wiring in the tank for the pump was melted and burned. Turns out the pump is still good. I am considering deleting the in-tank pump and using an in-line pump because I'm scared of blowing myself up now. Any reason I can't modify the stock sending unit by extending the fuel and vent lines?
