  • Where to buy Accel coils for 3.4?

I've looked around online and can't seem to find them. Anyone know of somewhere I can get a set of these?

I've checked: rksport, tbyrne, thunderacing, and summit.

Check Accel's site, get a part number, have an Accel dealer order one for you.

Just wondering, will these help out performance-wise?

There's alot of debate over this... Does a hotter spark (or longer for that matter) really increase performance?

After all, once the mixture has been ignited, wouldn't the combutstion take over the remaining ignition of un expanded mixture? Or does the high-voltage spark still need to be present to help the combusion along?

My opinion is this: If you're running stock, then the power or performance to be gained by these coils over stock is little to none.

On the other hand, they're only about $5 more than stock coils, and I'm sure the quality on the Accels is better. Therefore the $15 extra is probably worth that peice of mind.

I recently had an Ignition disaster that fried all three of my coils, so I got OEM ones. If I had it to do over agian, I probably would replace my stock coils with some Accels. (I jsut wish they weren't YELLOW)

If you're replacing them anyway, I say go for it. If you're just looking for a power adder, I say save your money and look into something else.

By the way, how do you like your K&N? (The FIPK) I've been considering it, but the Fasttoys one is a little cheaper. Any comments?
