Whenever I make a left turn, or bring my steering wheel back to the straight direction after I make a right turn especially in the cold, I hear a squeeling/whining noise. It sounds like a old water faucet, definately not the low pitched sound of a powersteering pump. What could be causing this?

Re: Squeeling noise coming from Steering Wheel
I think I get the same thing you do....at a certain point when turning left, i get a low spealing noise...but only at this certain point, when turning, and also bringing it back. And its not caused by power steering pump for sure. As for a solution....Havent gotten one, because I can't pin point where the noise is coming from.
