So, as you all may know. I am new to this site, well fairly new. Ive been on here for about a week now and I love it. So i heard of this seafoam stuff, I was pretty cautious cause my 3.8 isn't a project motor and is my DD. I didnt want to do anything (riskay) to Fuss up my car. My friends told me :slap: that Seafoam worked pretty well. So. giving in, i went a bought a can. (btw walmart sells them the cheapest ANYWHERE. So i went to my friends house. took the intake off and sprayed some seafoam down the throttle body and into the planum. I then proceeded with starting the car after 2 or 3 minutes and poured half the can in the pcv hose untill the car stalled. I let it sit for 10 min or so. (btw a cool engine is best so the chemical does not burn up while its sitting there). I then started the car and BAM my town had fog that day . I again poured the rest of the contents in the pcv hose and the car died again. Another 10 min went by and i started the engine again. I TELL YOU WHAT more smoke came out of that car than ive ever seen. I let it idle for abotu 2 or 3 min and then drove away. Upon getting on the main road i gave it HELL. and the car behind me...hahaha. he gave me a nasty gesture with his hand as he passed me in his minivan later after i had slowed down.
All in ALL. the car runs SOOOO much better. I think better than it did when new. I hear a bit of a churp going into second now:drool:, and as you know thats not usual. Im literally bettin it could run a 15 flat quarter now.
MY advise. FOR only 8 bucks, ITS literally a miracle in a can.
The only mods i have are
Coldair intake.
Exhaust(catback)
342's for the rear end
and ac delete.
