    Re: Seafoamin =]

lol. im about to ask for this thread to be closed.
All i was stating was that the seafoam DID AN AMAZING job. and Honestly...I'd bet money on the fact that sea-foam would never ever BuRN a whole in your piston...thats just...ummm wow.

IF that in fact actually happened...Youd have to be the most unlucky person on the face of the planet...or the most ignorant person in the world dealing with engines.(and maybe 20 cans of seafoam..

ITS FUNNY cause there is no evidence of SEAfoam hurting a car when properly used.

like i said, ONE use wont do anything, but when people use it once a month i have heard of that happening.. there is/was a HUGE thread on ls1tech about people with horrible experiences with seafoam, and a few people mentioned that it happened.

i honestly don't know how it could BURN a whole in your piston. or seriously FLUCK something up.

if all it is, is a solvent. i don't see how using it once a month would hurt...so does that mean using sea foam once a year. for 10 years... that's the equivalent to 10times...so does that mean it will damage your car over 10 years.??

whats the cut off point for using sea-foam.

i really dont know, i am against using miracles in a can unless it is absolutly necessary because most of the time they do more damage than they fix.

doing something 10 times in 10 years is way different than 10 times in a row, the seafoam does not prevent carbon buildup

very true. I guess there is ALWAYS too much of a good thing. so using it too much will hurt.

But as the writeups go, I don't think you're suppose to keep pouring it in unless your engine is still running. People have screwed up easier things though.

We had the car running when we poured it into the brake booster line. It was already smokin.

                    After 10 minutes damn!.

Oh yeah I wasn't saying you did it wrong, it was just hypothetical.

I never got a whole lot of smoke from mine when I did it, however I never poured a lot in it either.
