I was under the impression that the 98 camaros came with a 180 temp thermostat, but the technical database said 98 cars come with a 195. Which is true, 180 or 195?

I ran an autotap on mine for 30 minutes of driving this morning, and after the car warmed up it ran between 192 and 198 consistently.

So on the '98, I would say it must be a 195.

It's actually 195 for the 99+ cars. The tech database made a mistake.

The thermostat most likely depends on where the car was originally sold. Chevy usually puts 180 degree stats in cars sold in warmer climates like AZ.
