Yep. I found a SPEC type listing for the 3.8 once. did not say manual or auto but it did say 7.3.
Pretty good time, actually. Compared to other cars we are in some expensive company in that range. I have heard it is partly because of our good launching abilities from the pretty good rear end suspension and also the low gearing available (3.42 example) from stock. Stock bigger tires than most cars as well. Compare it to a just under 10 sec V6 mustang....lol....with supposedly a 200 hp engine and lighter car....I can understand...sorta...why so many girls by mustangs...but you'd think the dudes would have gotted tired of being beat up by the fbody sometime back in 1995 or so...but alas...the misguided populace often causes more harm than good.
LONG LIVE THE F-BODY!!!!!!

but as you said the mustang v6 0-60 is just under ten right? My ricer friend has a civic and he says he beat a mustang, and that the 200hp mustang is pretty much the same as the 200hp firebird. just wanted to make sure you were talking about a stock mustang that takes under 10 seconds to do 0-60
