Biggest injector for the 3.4

Is there anything bigger than the 24# (ACCEL-150124) that will fit the 3.4? I was thinking of going to 36# but can't find a part number.

If it is Bosch style like a GTP 36lb you could go 65lb injectors, or I think they make a 120lb injector too if you want big.

I was thinking 36lbs would do it. I just don't know if they are the GTP style or not.

Working on FI - 8lbs of boost. On top of that - P&P heads, bored .020, cammed (specs on my cardomain)

I had green top 42lbers in my car. You can use any injector that fits the 5.0 mustang motor.

Summit has generic pics of the injectors, so I have no idea if these are green top: ACCEL 150836.

The PCM is already turned for the cam. I have an adjusted FPR and MSD DIS4+.

The green tops are made by bosch. Check out the link below. These would be too big for your application though. Without any tuning device you will be running rich.

The PCM is already turned for the cam. I have an adjusted FPR and MSD DIS4+.

How so? There is no hack for the 93-95 v6 PCM's, and the reflash that is available has very little options (mainly shift points, don't even think the fuel/spark maps are accessible). I know this because I tune ECM's and have been doing many OBD1.5-OBD1 swaps ;) The 94-95 is still up in the air for the automatics, though, since the 4t60e has a different shift setup than the OBD1's can work.

The AFPR and larger injectors will make you have to run an insanely low pressure - to the degree of about 5psi fuel pressure for 24# injectors (have done it, then used a FMU for boost). Running the injectors that low on larger injectors will only make it as though you never swapped them.

I am guessing on the 36-ers. People are saying the 19# I have are "WAY" too small. If 24# is right, that's cool.

My original plan was to run 6 psi, but the wastegate my kit came with is non-adjustable 8. maybe it's better to swap the WG and keep the 19#s?

If your only going to run 8lbs of boost just add an adjustable FMU and keep the stock injectors if you need a little more fuel go with the 19lbers. I ran this one for years.

I already have 19# installed. Been running them for a few years. You think they are enough for 8 PSI?
