like $60 from autozone for a warrantied pump

like $800-$1000 for a power steering rack

I got a rack from TA Creations for ~$140 shipped. Install took me a few hours with decent tools (impact wrench really helps).

Power steering pump - price is on. Install took an hour or two. Remember to rent a power steering pulley puller.

In both cases make sure to flush the fluid really well to get any particles out of there.

I think the one I ordered from napa has a pully on it... cost 90... The rack should be fine unless I hurt it driving to work today

its bad to hold it all the way Lock to Lock (left or right), especially when not moving.

It might have ALOT of metal shavings in the rack, like my friend's does.

Well I did it. Getting the hoses off was the biggest *****. took me 5-6 hours. would be faster now that I've done it. Just took me a while to figure out how to take off the high pressure hose. take the low one off and detach the pump and twist the pump Instead of using the bolts. Was by myself so it was hard to flush, not sure I did a great job of that but hopefully. Found out why the other pump didn't work. the shaft connected to the pull came out of the pump along with the pump. not a good sign...

Mine is really weird. Sometimes it works other times while im driving it will just spontaneously go out.....can be dangerous at times when your lightly spinnin the wheel and all the sudded it feels like it locks up lol.

If it seizes up for some reason at can hurt things (if you have a serpentine belt)... not likely to do that though... yeah It was really hard to turn at a stop...
