    just stop by parts store picked up a stock fpr cost me 41.00 so i will change that and see what happens

        Call me crazy, but wouldn't a blown regulator lead to high pressure? I could be completely wrong on that.

          If it was only getting 5-10 PSI and then you fixed it, and then it ran OK for a minute and then totally died and won't re-start, check the fuel pressure again. That hose/pipe that is in the tank may have come off. That seems to be a pretty common issue if you don't get it clamped down really good.

          I think that a bad regulator causes hard starting and lean conditions when accelerating.

            I had a bad FPR and it caused hard start when warm. (started fine cold) Rich condition, and a misfire.

            I changed it by pulling the fuel rail off, there is a snap ring on the rear side(towards the cab of the car) that has to be taken off.
