just follow the directions on the can

i guess you can use the oil you have now, since you will waste it anyways, but i would run some cheap oil after you do that, and then change it back to the oil you use.

the oil will still get dirty pretty quick after using seafoam, so there is no need to use synthetic for only 1000 miles and change it again, you know?
