I am thinking of trying to get into some scca stuff and I would like to know so I can run the largest tire size possible and still be in the stock class. thanks

I am not 100% sure on SCCA rules but my local autocrossing club(that is stricter then SSCA) doesn't allow any "upgrade" mods unless you do the upgrade of the entire car.
so if you have a v6, and want SS rims, you have to convert to a full SS with ls1, 6-speed, lsd, etc...
So I woudl look into the rules carefully...
but for biggest rims are the '00-02 the biggest rims 17X10s? I have 17X9.5 Zr1s but when I use them I am upgraded to prepared.Comment

yeah main reason I looked into this is because I was looking to be a y87 clone and autocross in "stock" but still not 100% sure if I need to upgrade my steering rack or no, have heard that 2000s have a z28 rack stock.Comment
