Major emergency issue

So I was changing a light behind the HVAC face plate, and when I put the new one in and tried it out, the whole dash doesn't light up anymore. I checked the ground, chip, and the fuses...any answers?

Did you check the fuse for the tail lights. They normally go out when the dash lights are out.

I'd also try replacing the fuse...sometimes they can actually look good, but may have popped still. The shredder in my basement did that...popped the fuse, but the damn thing looked fine...put a new one in and it works like a beauty again...

x2 check fuses.


my whole dash blew out one time at night when i was changing out my headunit, just had to replace one of the fuses that blew and she was back to normal.
