My car is idling at 11/2 instead of 1 and when im riding ma chevy and let off of the gas its still ridin at 11/2 like im givin it gas and if I put it in N it tacks up to 2rpm. It will go back to idle at 1rpm every once n a while but for most of the time its siting at 11/2 rpm... whats wrong? Do I need a tune up?

My first guess would be an idle air control valve that can be found on the throttle body. They dont cost very much.
