  • Driver door rubbing fender, please help

Hey guys, I'm having a slight problem with my door, it rubs the fender when I open it. Is there a way to adjust the hinges, or do I need to replace them or what? the door shuts fine...I've tried lifting the door when opening it to see if the hinges are bent..but it doesn't do anything..still rubs..and makes that horrid noise...anyway, anyone have an idea where I should start, or how I should go about fixing it?
    thanks

At the top of the fender close to the door, there should be a space between the fender and the window. Push the plastic back and Look inside there and you should see a bolt. Loosen the bolt and you can move the fender to fix the rub problem. Then tighten it back down.

Our doors are HUGE and heavy. Look at your door sill, are there scrape marks there from the door catching when you open and close it??? You may need to rehang the door, they tend to sag after about 10 years.

i have those scratch marks on the bottom panels where the door opens / closes, and my t-tops tend to leak a bit (some water builds up a bit, about an inch back of the front t-top to body rubber join, and then it slowly drips in), would re-hanging the doors fix this, but slightly re-angling the door into the rubber, and how is this done

        cheers
