Whats the easiest and fastest way to remove the engine from a 96 3.8 camaro, when removing from the top.

easiest and fastest is to do it from the bottom. So change that part of your statement and your set. Otherwise you have to remove a bunch more stuff to get the engine out.

lets put it this way, you will need an engine lift to take it out from the top, well, you will also use the engine lift to lift the front of the car to get the engine out.. so basically you use the same exact equipment to do the job

DO NOT TAKE IT OUT THE TOP!! lol thats how i did it, biggest pain in the @ss. Remove bolts holding the k-member to the chassis then Use an engine lift to lift the front of the car up leaving the motor and wheels on the ground. Just watch clearances and go slow so you dont snap any ac or brake lines.Just a v6 with a few mods, no big plans :bs:
