    1998 Firebird V6 Manual

Hey guys i really badly need a A/c delete of some sort i know they dont make them and i have heard of people doing an awsome job on some custom fabrications, i currently am bypassing the A/c pulley with a smaller belt but its a pain in the a** cause its way to tight and is ruining my other pullies! i was wondering if any one who has already done it will fabricate one for me and i will pay you for it plus shipping and all !I feel lazy asking but i just dont have the time lol

but if anyone can help me out or have ideas or somewhere i can get one done that would be amazing !

    Thanks guys

Doesn't specify engine size but check this

Need a regular pulley to put on it and you should be set.

Another thing is just get the correct belt for non ac cars and that should be fine. They wouldn't have just thrown an extra pulley on to make use of the same belt so just make sure your tensioner is working properly and your sourcing the right belt.

I could be wrong, but I thought ZZP or INTENSE made a L36 a/c delete?

run a smaller belt and bypass the AC and the idler pulley above it. If the smaller belt you are using now is a bit too small, then take it off and go one size bigger...I have to take my alternator off, put the belt on, then muscle the alternator into place...Im fine...

          You are correct.

If the link doesn't show it, search AC Delete under the Grand Prix section of ZZPerformance's website.

BMR makes the block off plate for an AC delete.

ZZP sells the actual AC pulley delete for all Series II and III 3.8s.

remember the ac is mounted in a different location (other side of engine) on the grand prix's so I am going to say that kit prob won't work. I haven't tried it myself to find out or seen any fbody guys running it yet. Maybe it works on these cars too, but my first guess would be no.

The panel will definately fit from BMR fabrication you will just have to find the pulley to fit your car.
