A friend of mine said i should get some aftermarket pulleys and after thinking about it i should. i know that Grand Prix's have 3800 Series II Engines. I dont know about the bolt-ons/internals of them. could i buy an aluminum flywheel, water pump, alternator pulley and is it worth buying. im tryin to shave a little weight, build my ride stronger and produce better revability of the motor. if this is something i can do, then what type of pulleys should i replace? what type should i get as well underdrive or overdrive?

The main pulley to get is an underdrive crankshaft. It'll be smaller then the stock crankshaft (and lighter), so it'll drive the accessories a little slower and give you a little more power. You could also get an underdrive alternator pulley if you want, but if you're running an aftermarket stereo or a lot of electrical stuff, I wouldn't suggest that unless you got a higher output alternator.

Smaller on the crank, larger on everything else.
Talking 3.8's here:
There are not crank pullies available for us, seeing as we have a harmonic balancer / dampener / etc. on it at the moment. Maybe one day.
ZZP makes a WP pulley in underdrive form, and a Alt pulley in -10%, -20%, and +5%. I have the WP, and it was maybe a 1/2" in larger diameter, and lighter, though the weight removed was in the center (not very important for rotation). Either way, I've got it, I'm happy. I held off on the alt pulley.
As for the flywheel, I heard that someone (was it spec? or someone else?) had offered to a member to take about 20 lbs or so out of his flywheel for a few hundred bucks. Very decent idea, though I don't know what happened after that.
