bang for the buck and removing stuff... haha
remove drivebelt, pull the exhasut in intake. ;)

But serioulsy in the 3.4L the biggest bang for the buck mods was opening up my exhaust. Really helped out on the top end, where the 3.4L is hurting a little.

First setup I ran an open y-pipe, through a half clogged cat. That setup really helped me out with times. After that setup I took the cat off and ran a cheap muffler off my y-pipe, very small exhaust system.

Those right there affected my times the most ad really opened up my 3.4L up top which used to just fall on its face around 4,000 and higher rpms.

I cannot really say how much my lt1 driveshaft helped my times since I did a rear axle swap and got 3.42s and lsd at the same time. but either way it is lighter then a stock 2 piece one, usually only costs like $25, AND most important, is likely not to have a center bearing go bad, and cause problems(like mine did)

As for the mods I enjoyed the most in everyday driving but only helped a little bit in racing... Sway bars, and lsd both made driving the car everyday alot more fun.

Others open up your exhaust and intake. Nice easy stuff to get ya going in the right direction
