I have a 96 Firebird that i bought as a project car to get good mileage so it has the v6 5spd. The other day i went to crank it and i had to give it gas to crank it up. Then i have to keep my foot on the gas to keep it running. I just replaced the IAC about a month ago because it was revving up and that cured that. Can someone tell me which direction to head to fix this dieing problem???

Re: Keeps dieing...
Sounds like a fuel problem. If your lucky it could be as simple as a clogged fuel filter, but that is usually not the case. A weak fuel pump is more likely. If you have access to a fuel pressure tester; hooking that up to the service port on the fuel rail would be a good place to start. With the key on I believe you should be around 45psi.
