If you follow the directions on the bottle, you're in good shape. It's the Bubba's of the world that believe more is better that have problems in the long run ... just don't get a wild hair and mix two bottles of Lucas with three bottles of Outlaw every time you fill your tank. Excessive use of fuel additives can cause accelerated wear of your valve seals. Also, mixing excessive amounts of additive in your fuel tank can corrode the injectors and accelerate wear on other fuel system components. But, again, only the guys that go overboard with the stuff should worry.

As far as oil additives go, I swear by Marvel. Great stuff!!! It's carried my bird past the 220,000 mile mark.
