need ideas

soo, the car wash at work ate my antenea and when i say ate it, i mean destroyed it. so now i just have this hole in the rear fendor and need an idea on how to cover or patch or do something to this.

i bought one of those windshield mounted anteneas and that's kind of why i need to patch the hole bc i don't have a new antenea to put on. plus, the rubber piece that connects to the mast and pole flew off on the highway and looked tacky w/o a pole on it anyway..

just looking for some ideas to get this covered..water gets in the trunk when it rains so it's kind of a problem..

Taking it to a shop to get it filled in and painted is the best bet.

But temporarily stuff the holes with some small towels or try some duct tape on the inside to cover the hole so rain wont get in at least.

I would say take it to a body shop and have them weld in a piece of mettle to fill the hole.
