    how do u get rid of the speed limiter on a 97 camaro i know they make hyper techs for 98+ but what for 97
    ?

    Nope....HPP3 for 00+ only. 98-99 are stuck with the same problem.

      for the 97 the jet scu raises it but doesnt kill it and N2O should make you past it with no problem.

            JET SCU 2000 i found i think would work great for my app, im adding 3.73s and this would also get rid of limiter change shift points and recaliberate the speedo any one have one of these

              There is not a single reason to remove the limiter unless you really just don't like it and want to be cool.

              In the 1/4 mile you won't exceed 118MPH, you'd be running 11s by then, and thats going to be a rare scenario. The only type of racing you might need to remove it for is track racing, but how many of us can afford that?

              on a 1997, your only option is to get it reprogrammed by zzperformance for $300.
