i don't know what it is but on cold mornings when the car is just being started, the check engine light will come on until it warms up substantially , and usually it will run like crap until it gets warm, then its fine. however on rare occasions, when its really cold, it almost feels like theres a misfire. it will idle nasty and it sounds like a top fuel dragster. it does this until i just shift really late like at 4500 RPM and then it clears itself out, kinda like a two stroke. do you think i would have to replace some plugs? i know on carberated cars theres a cold choke, does SFI have the same thing? will carb cleaner help it?
