How to : remove Accel cable

I tried searching and figured this is so retarded but maybe its just the heat. One of the final things to do on my ls1 swap is remove the accelorator cable from my donor car and mine and swap. But I looked in my chiltons manual and everything and couldnt figure out how to get the cable out of the car, the plastic stopper ends or whateva, Like I dont know what it is but I can figure it out and I feel meca stupid =) so help me out. thx.
