  • GoodYear Gatorback Poly-V Belt for 3.8L, 5.0L & 5.7L

Looking up serpentine belts for our 3.8L V6 on GoodYears website, I found some interesting information I received from the GoodYear tech rep over the phone today and had to share with you all.

GoodYear Gatorback Poly-V 4060945 also fits the 3rd Gen V8 F-Bodies with the 5.0L 305 / 5.7L 350 serpentine assembly outfitted on the engines. How neat is that? I currently own an '88 IROC Z28 305 TPI with AC. The belt length is 95 inches. Summit lists them for $29.99. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/GTR-4060945/

Below is a pic of the Quiet Belt if you want to upgrade than cheaping out and learning the hard way this hot summer. Plus they last longer too.

I have had goodyears for some time now, they replaced the Dayco belts, I think they were bought out by them or the checker guy lied to me.LOL The Dayco belts Poly V were the best, but the gatorback poly V has been doing very well also.
