what is the best way of cleaning the carbon from our engines, i've heard sea-foam is good, has anyone used it, is it easy, and does it work well and with what performance/other affects

used seafoam in the truck. its not hard. follow the directions on the can. the only problem i can see if that it might be hard to poor it into the horizontal intakes. i believe the can recomends pouring into a vacuum line in this situation.
i had some carbon buildup and was getting knocking/pinging (higher compression, hot spots). it cured that problem.Comment

spray you a little nitrous in there. Cleans it out good with a nice side effect. :DComment

I intend to Seafoam my car before my next oil change. But since I just changed my oil 300 miles ago, I'll be waiting a while [img]smile.gif[/img]

The best and easiest way to clean out carbon deposits in the engine it to give the throttle a good whack!!!
If you run your car on a consistant basis from idle to redline. Carbon buildup isn't something you should really concern yourself with.
