used seafoam in the truck. its not hard. follow the directions on the can. the only problem i can see if that it might be hard to poor it into the horizontal intakes. i believe the can recomends pouring into a vacuum line in this situation.
i had some carbon buildup and was getting knocking/pinging (higher compression, hot spots). it cured that problem.

I intend to Seafoam my car before my next oil change. But since I just changed my oil 300 miles ago, I'll be waiting a while
In the meantime, I used the Chevrom Fuel injector cleaner w/ the Techron.--<b>David</b>--<br /><a href=\"http://bryant2.bryant.edu/~dsantore/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\">The <b>NEW</b> V6Bird Website!</a> <br /><a href=\"http://members.cardomain.com/thev6bird\" target=\"_blank\">Cardomain site</a><br />ΔX

The best and easiest way to clean out carbon deposits in the engine it to give the throttle a good whack!!!
If you run your car on a consistant basis from idle to redline. Carbon buildup isn't something you should really concern yourself with. If you granny the car under 2,000 RPM all the time, then worry about carbon build up.<b>15.41</b> @ 89.80 & 15.45 @ <b>91.64</b>, 2.21 60ft, 3,440 raceweight, using <b>OEM</b> Equipment. <br />\'98 L67/M49 w/ 134,000 miles before spun bearing. \"<i>It\'s all stock, Baby</i>!\"
