Where does water get under the hood?

I'm missing something, somewhere.
Whenever it rains, I must be getting water on the coils.. if the car sits out in the rain, it'll spit, sputter and misfire bad for a few minutes after I start it. The weatherstripping along the cowl looks fine and I don't see where it can leak there. There's no other weatherstripping under the hood.
What am I missing? I'm sorta baffled?

its getting in through the cowl.. i still have yet to figure out where though

you have the same problem? I might have to pull the cowl up and try figure that out

Check where one of the screws goes through part of the plastic cowl. Mine will leak there once in a blue moon after a hard rain. Something in it shifted and it will drain a couple drops that land right at the base of the coil packs on the ICM.

keep your hood up and put a garden hose on the windshield.

this will show you where it is leaking from.

ah good idea haha i tend to miss the obvious solutions. I shall try that tommorow
