i've done alot of work to here the last few weeks (mainly tranny stuff) did the spark plugs while i was under there. new water pump. that is the main things i touched in the bay. also changed the belt
now the camaro won't turn back over. need ideas. i hear the fuel pump and the gauge is reading 56. the car is clicking like she wants to turn over. but nothing.
need ideas. (could a shorter belt cause this problem)
if the engine wont turn over and is clicking, it is an electrical problem. check all of the grounds, on the starter, ground straps from the engine to frame, battery cables, etc

well thats odd, I swore I posted this info in here already...anyways, Kristen, I am sure it is not mechanical but rather you forgot to attach something from when you did your work. Double check both power wires going to the alt as I know those have to come off for the water pump. Check all your grounds, and double check the fuses...I remember when my cluster gauge fuse went out, and the car refuses to start without that...could be that something just popped on you...that fuse popped on me when I did my waterpump install (not sure why), but check all your fuses...its gotta be something small and stupid.
