Your brake light comes on when your brake fluid is low, which means it's time to do the brakes, unless your master cylinder is leaking. Then it's time to get a new master cylinder.
Or you just have your parking brake on.
the Air Bag light staying on means there's a problem with your air bag system.

Yeah, what he said. The air bag system needs reset at the dealer most likely. Does you car have a reconstructed title or anything like that? I'd say your car was prolly wrecked before you bought it. And I say that because that's how mine was.
My air bag light came on because when I had my crossmember dropped and steering disconected I spun the wheel and it broke the SIM coil in the steering wheel. It was a 100 dollar fix, at chevy dealer. The dealer can scan the circuit and tell you what is wrong. If the light has been on since you bought it the bags probably blew and were not reset properly

I added fluid but the BRAKE light still remains lit.
Oh also the air bag light stays constant when i put it into neutral it will flash a few times then it will turn off. But as soon as i put it back into drive it will light up again.
Ever since I've had some brake work done on my brakes the lights stayed on. Pretty crappy because the shop wouldnt figure out what had caused it. Brakes work fine and dandy so I guess its air in the lines or a busted sensor.

Spray your brakes real good at a car wash. Sometimes the ABS sensors get dirty, and if that doesnt do it, disconnect them and clean them (i think brake parts cleaner should be ok).
Something else on the airbag, check your airbag fuse in the fuse box on the side of your instrument cluster. If that is out or in the wrong spot it will do that airbag light...I accidently put mine in the wrong spot once however yours might be out.
You might also disconnect your battery for however long it takes to let it reset. I'm pretty sure that will reset it.
