What rating of octane do you guys use and why? Has anyone noticed a mpg increase by using a certain octane??

Regular here too (87 octane). Our engines don't need the higher octane, and thats what it tells you to use in the manual anyway.

87 octane unless you've done anything to raise your compression or require higher-octane fuel (blower, turbo, etc.).

              I have a 99 Bird and use 87 octane, and I get 25-30 MPG.
