not a big problem, but here it is

when i got my car tuned up- my car has had a bit of a hesitation when it is cold out (but this is not important right now - although it isn't fixed yet).. anyway, when i'm stopped, (i have a manual), the gear stick shacks a bit, not too much, but enough and the whole car shakes, just a bit... now then, when i reset the pcm, (whenever i do work), when i restart the car, the stick and car are dead still at stop (not shacking at all), but as time goes by, 10 minutes or so, the shaking is back... does anyone know what this could be .. i plan on replacing the 7mm wires with 8mm wires, and new plugs, and new 02 sensors... but this just doesn't make sense to me, i know its nothing really, but i'm one of those ppl who has to know why everything happens as it does

    thanks for the help

The gearstick should shake a bit due to the rubber trans mount (everyone of my f-bodies has), so that's not abnormal. Do you get any banging or anything when you floor it? I'm wondering if possibly your trans mount is broken (or maybe engine mounts) and that's what's causing the car vibration.

i thought it may have something to do with some of the mounts, but how would i check them?

a while back, my car started hesistating and jolting around really violently, and i think some of the huge jolts (these were no normal backfires) may have done some damage... i took my car to get a tune up (i had no time, uni and all..) and the backfirings gone and no jolts, except for early, cold mornings for a couple of minutes, would some brocken mounts also be the cause of my cold morning jolting?

      thanks
