Ok I did some searching and nothing has actually come up with the explanantion I needed so here it goes...
its a 97 RS with power windows.
the passenger window works perfect. The driver window used to work perfect then all of a sudden one day got stuck. Then after about 15 mins it went all the way up. This problem got worse and worse until the window doenst move anymore. I replaced the switch in the door(with the buttons on it) and the passenger window works even better than before.
heres the weird part... i have an autometer volt gage.
when i hit the passenger button, u can visibly see power being drawn by the gage moving.
when i hit the driver button...nothing...as if no power is going to the motor. this all happened in about 3 days time and im not sure if i need a window motor or not because every once in a while the driver window will move an inch or two its driving me NUTS! yours thoughts!? Thanks guys
