May want to let it cool down, especially if u smell any burnt trans fluid. Also drive as smoothly as possible to avoid shifting the trans back and forth.

the heat on isn't gonna help your transmission temps.

nothing we can do to help you will on the road, just make sure the fluid level is good and get her home

i agree, turning the heat on will help when the engine is overheating, but i doubt it will have much, if any effect on the trans cooler.

but anyways, did you try just shutting the car off and stopping for about 15 minutes and driving again? sometimes weird things happen, and it will "fix" the trans

mine has been slipping for the last month. need to stop and let it cool awhile before continueing and mine seems to slip more with the cruise on and running the a\c. you shouldnt have to check the tranny fluid. it slipping wont cause it to use more, atleast mine never has.

Well I did check the trans fluid it was fresh fluid but had turned black from slipping. I made it to post and got to formation with literally three minutes to spare. By the time I made it on post the damn thing was revving outrageous to just go.

or get it to a trans shop before that. Otherwise yes or learn to build transmissions, or swap a junkyard one in.

The trans fluid being low can cause the trans to slip. Thats why you check it.

I would hope from someone who comes on a forum for modding cars would know to check fluid levels regularly.
