ok, i replaced my battery 3 months ago, then my alternator 1-2 months ago, car ran fine today, until i checked in off of leave, went to start ...nothing no door chime no pwr door locks nada! it worked after 2 jumps until i hit the brakes, then died both times. (after jumps) the axc control pnl had no lighting while car was running and the headlights comming on had no effect on the battery voltage
WTF!!! is there a freaking demon in my electrical system or is my new alternator bad too?

Hey get out your volt ohm meter and measure the voltage of the battery while the car is running, at the least it should say 13.2 volt dc to 14.6 volts. If you have a clamp on amp meter measure the current on the battery wire running off the alternator, with most of the accessories it should be well over 60 amps. If the two test are right, then the alternator is fine and there is either corrosion at the batt terminals or the alt terminals, or you need to replace your battery again. If it is your battery, you could replace it with a optima.

If you can get your car to an Autozone, they can check the output of the alternator and the battery while the car is running. This may help you narrow down the possibilities so you don't waste your money on parts that don't need to be replaced. If you bought a remanufactured alternator, it could be defective...wouldn't be the first time for that!
