took a quick clip of how my oil pressure fluctuates. although the vid doesnt show how sever it gets. it can drop from 60 to 30 then to 90 and back to 60. idk what is wrong so i was hoping someone can give me an idea. i changed the oil pressure switch about an year back. the problem shows more towards the end of the vid.

    Re: oil pressure fluctuates

Aftermarket oil pressure sending units tend to be more sensitive to changes and tend to show a higher reading than stock units. It's kind of hard to tell from the video, but it looks like it raises under acceleration, which is pretty normal. It just seems to be moving more than your original "dummy" unit allowed.

Try hooking up a mechanical oil pressure gauge and see what it reads.
