Clean or Replace the belt that is on there or replace the idler/tensioner pulley and realign it to the belt.
I recommend a good cleaning - it usually helps a good bit!2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

Mine did it slightly, then recently I hit 50k miles so I replaced the belt. Yeah... it makes even more noise now. I haven't decided on where it's coming from, but until I can definately tell, I'll just leave it. It makes a cool noise anyways. Had someone completely believe that I had a SC under the hood.

Do you have an aftermarket air intake on your car? When I replaced my stock airbox with the ram air kit for my new hood I noticed a couple whineing noises. After a couple screws were tightened and a couple gaskets checked, no problemo.
