You've got to know how to work with car dealers.
When a car dealer is trying to sell a used car, he's likely jacked the price way up beyond what should be expected - you have to haggle with him.
This is a real bad game to play if you don't know what you're doing, but there are some simple rules to follow.
Now I can't tell you the value of the car because I haven't seen it. Note the year of the car, Determine the general condition of the interior and exterior, and take it for a test drive. Also make sure you take notice of the number of miles on the car and the number of previous owners. Then check kellybluebook.com and it will have a wizard that guides you through pricing the car. Make sure you notice every single major thing wrong with the car. Alignment, brake noise, engine noise, engine knock, smells, emissions, EVERYTHING.
1200 dollars is only a good deal if, after figuring everything, the used car dealer is only making about 100 dollars of profit, so the Kelly Blue Book should tell you about 1100 dollars, give or take.
It won't though. The price is jacked up, so the car is a good deal if you can bargain the price with the guy and get it within 100 dollars of the price you get on kelly blue book.
If not, screw that guy and find yourself someplace else that comes closer.

He's talking about an engine, not a car.<a href=\"http://webpages.charter.net/camarov6/Car%20Pics/New/IMG_0085.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">Black 2002 Camaro M5</a>-SS takeoff muffler, B&M Ripper, K&N Filter, 35/20% tint, Infinity speakers, Viper alarm, perpetually breaking clutch return spring mod. 15.49@90.15<br /><a href=\"http://webpages.charter.net/camarov6/Car%20Pics/P14.JPG\" target=\"_blank\">Pewter 2002 Firebird M5 (Dad\'s Car)</a>
