  • Weird.....extra wire harness in console?

hey, I'm new to the board, and this is my first post. Well anywayz. I had my console off the other day and i noticed that there is an extra wire harness underneath it. I have no clue as to what this might be....so I was wondering if anyone would know.

Depending on the year/engine for your car, this is either for second gear start or traction control.

hmm......would i be able to just get the traction control switch and make it functional if it is for that? oh yah I have an 02 bird btw. Only options are Auto Tranny, T-Tops, and Monsoon Sound System

Putting in a switch won't do anything, since if you don't actually have those options installed it's kind of pointless (like power window harnesses being in doors but there's no motors, etc).
