I am going to sand it just to get it smooth. It says i dont need to prime it but should i anyways? Do i need to get some clearcoat for it and if so where? wal mart didnt have any.

It's plastic paint isn't it? you probably shouldn't have sanded or primed it, I think it's made ESPECIALLY to stick to plastic, NOT the smooth surfices of additional coats or sanded pieces. I'm not REAL sure but I think it was made best the way you had it, I would have just washed it down and sprayed away!

Hey I'm curious, what color's your car and what color you using? I'm THINKING about painting my interior but I don't want it to become a crap job.

My car is dark blue with black interior and grey seats and carpet. I am painting alot of my trim blue. I only did the piece around the cd player to start with and its turning out great. I dont know how much much i am gonna do. I sanded mine just to give it the smooth look. It took me 2 hours to get it smooth so i dont think i am gonna sand the rest.

If you ever put armorall(sp?) on it, sand it, mine bubbled the first time.
