OK--my alarm/keyless entry seems to be going nuts--unlocks/locks when I don't want it to, usually right after I shut one of the doors... Anyone else experience this?? The car is almost three years old and still has the original battery...

It doesn't sound like the battery to me at all. It sounds more like a loose or crossed wire in the locking system.
Questions:
Does it always lock and unlock when you use the remote or auto unlock button?
Any power windows/mirror problems?
Car turns over OK?
At idle right after you crank the car, if you rev it up do the lights dim? -
