Hey guys-
2 months ago I had the misfire issue and my mechanic replaced the #6 spark plug wire and plug and it resolved it for 2 months (about 1,000 miles)
Yesterday it happened again, I started it up and within 10 seconds the car switched modes and I knew the problem was back, I barely made it to my mechanics and called for a ride home, hopefuly he gets to it tomorrow, but I'm not excited about him changing another wire/plug and I have this problem again
At Cz28 a guy was talking about shielding and my mechanic told me he re installed the factory shielding on the wire and looped it out of the way, what more can we do?
I only have 38K but I'm not going to deal with this every 2 months, anyone have a more preminant solution?
I called Ayers Chevy (for those in NJ) and the just asked them if they had a re-call on this and the guy was insistant that I have a major engine problem and I need to get the car on their tester
Any help?
