So basically, you're conflicting line pressures of the 1-2 shift to go into second gear and having the shifter itself in 1st gear. Awesome, now I'm waiting for this tranny to blow.
And however well you know the cars "habits", you're not going to re-engineer the inner workings of the trans, nor cheat them, without having some sort of damage in the future
