So basically, you're conflicting line pressures of the 1-2 shift to go into second gear and having the shifter itself in 1st gear. Awesome, now I'm waiting for this tranny to blow.

And however well you know the cars "habits", you're not going to re-engineer the inner workings of the trans, nor cheat them, without having some sort of damage in the future

it may have been an option for the earlier years but my 94 has it and was bought in Alaska so I'm sure they wanted it. also is your a firebird or a camaro darkflare?

That's it. Youre wearing thin on my patience with these dumb threads. Just as a reminder, do NOT put your SGS equipped cars in first gear and turn on your SGS. Despite whatever gains or benefits there have been said to have in this thread, that is not what it is designed for. Use common sense when driving your F-body

BTW, there is nothing stupid about what I say, because it's usually derived from basic common sense.
