I lol'ed when I heard him. You should have ran the piss out of it up and down that straight stretch instead of just revving it up that much.

It's not really bad or anything. It just doesn't make any sense in modern day terms. We're not running carbureted engines. Nothing to really get mad about, but funny :).

                      Re: Sea Foamed

Sea Foam is a decarbonizer so it cleans up the intakes and exhaust valves, it is better to be driving the car , reving a cold engine like that can mess up the engine. I have used it many times, but its better as the car starts, to drive it and really open it up better results , instead of reving to 4000 rpms you can take it up to 5700 RPMS and the engine will get hotter and more deposits will break free, for a more cleaner engine and fuel tank if done in the fuel.

96' Camaro M5 to A4 conversion, alot of mods . GT35R Turbo full suspension. Built engine

flooring a car will let more air into the engine so it will start easier, especially if it gets flooded out like you are suppose to do with seafoam.. just sayin'

you're suppose to drive it like you stole it after you seafoam

I dunno man I don't think adding gas when starting is really a valid tactic for fuel injection. I've sea foamed before. Just crank it over and it will start. In fact when first starting the car on a fly-by-wire like my 99, I'm not even sure the throttle does anything. I'd have to hookup a scanner and see next time I'm starting it if the throttle shows a higher %.
