    Power Window Motor

    I think my motor is dead: I can't raise the window.
    it goes and stops, I have to wait 1 minute to restart it.

    Well GM in france told me that the motor is part #88960088 and is $235
    I've found one on ebay for $30, on the pic there is the #240115741. Can I use it on my '99 camaro?

    it said it couldn't find that # on ebay...maybe bc I'm trying the US ebay site tho :/

          autozone has siemens motors, better than stock, and anywhere from $39.99-80, as they have a gay regional priceing.

          Im glad its $49.99 here in orlando :D

              I bought mine from advanced auto parts a few months ago...Has worked fine since. Was $60.00

                but I'm living in France, no autozone and GM here sells motors $230.

                  i replaced my window motor about 2 months ago. i think my switch is busted now because my driver's side window does nothing...up or down. has anyone taken apart the entire switch assembly? i'm in the process of cle4aning it right now but don't know how to completely disassemble it.

                    Hey Chevy Lovah, Ebay has a dealer on there called "fparts". He has an ebay store and I bought a combo lock/window switch with the trim mount for I believe 7 or 8 bucks a couple of months back. Took about 5 minutes to swap out.
                    Check him out Just type in fparts in the ebay search along with clicking descriptions. Even if this guy doesn't have one...Ebay is usually just full of this stuff...!

                            You must drill 2 holes (the two red circles) to access to the motor

                              Im not sure how much they cost around here, but we have plenty of autozones and kragen/parts americas. I would be happy to buy it and ship it to ya for the price I pay, plus shipping.
