Ok so today I went to leave to work. Started my car and it seemed to be sputtering a bit. So as I started to go it was "chugging" along and when I gave it a bit of gas the SES light started to flash. I recently sea foamed my car so could it be that the spark plugs are all gumed up or is it something more serious?

i would say the spark plugs are fouled up with carbon and you are getting a misfire -

If I'm not mistaken, a flashing SES light indicates misfires. Sounds like it could be a clogged catconverter, seems to happen a lot on our cars. Maybe the seafoam overwhelmed it.Comment

Take it to your local parts store and have them run the codes. Might be able to find some hidden codes that haven't tripped an SES light yet. But yes, plugs would be a good start on finding the cause of the misfire.'99 Camaro

flashing SES light is indeed a misfire. could be a handful of things. plugs, wires, coil(s), ICM, cat converter, engine damage, etcComment

I'm with Kristen, Flashing SES means that something is causing a DTC in the PCM (typically a misfire) and it is bad enough it could cause engine damage. Misfires can also cause a solid SES when they aren't as bad.
I had a flashing SES once with the car doing similar to what you're describing but it went away after about 500ft so I attributed it to bad gas.
Check plugs, plug wires, and coilpacks for any signs of damage or water. turn key on to make sure you hear the fuel pump priming well, and scan it for any O2 codesComment

I would definitely start with the spark plugs, seafoam is known to foul plugs out. The plugs in my Trans Am were all fouled out once because of a too rich condition, all 8 fouled out real fast, and the car chugged and couldn't keep itself running without a little gas, replaced them and the car ran perfectly. Pull out one plug and take a look at it, hopefully it looks like garbage and you'll know right away its fouled out. Start small and work your way up.
